Energy Therapist Dr. Ronald Boivin to be Featured on CUTV News Radio

EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA, August 2, 2018 / — Recent studies indicate that positive thinking does not help much with curing cancer. That may be true, but we can improve the quality of life for these patients and their families during this difficult time.

Dr. Ronald Boivin is an energy therapist specializing in complementary medicine to support people as they navigate medical issues, mental health, even spiritual issues. Dr. Boivin supports his clients along with other healthcare professionals and counseling professionals to help get them through the rough spots and resolve any difficulties they many have.

“People with chemotherapy will typically come to me the day before or day of their chemotherapy treatment,” explains Dr. Boivin. “We do energy treatments on their body to make sure that the electricity in their body flows properly and that any anxiety they have can be reduced to a manageable rate.”

Dr. Boivin possesses a strong background in the sciences, theology and in the liberal arts. He accesses all of that knowledge to help an individual client or family or group of people to get through whatever difficulties that are preventing them from living in peace.

“It's a matter of helping these people navigate this experience with grace and dignity without having too much damage to the body or spirit or social systems or their family,” Dr. Boivin.

Dr. Boivin knows firsthand how difficult this process can be. In 1992, he was been diagnosed many years ago with a terminal liver illness.

“My specialist informed me I would likely be dead within a couple of years,” recalls Dr. Boivin, “but he said if there's one man who can help me, it was a medical doctor who was also an acupuncturist and traditional Chinese healer. This was in 1992. As you can tell, I'm still very much alive. I studied with this medical doctor and that's what led me into the energy area. Then I studied energy psychology and energy medicine and started looking at all the different healing techniques that offered some sort of healing help for people.”

Dr. Boivin says he made a deal with the divine. He couldn’t be selfish; he had to share what he’d learned with others who may not have the strength and good fortune to do so.

“I’m proud of my ability to improve the world by dealing with one issue at a time. That is really my intention, to help people see some hope. It's a very, very real thing for me because I was given that chance of hope. I really want to give that to other people as well.”

CUTV News Radio will feature Dr. Ronald Boivin in an interview with Jim Masters on August 6th at 12pm EDT.

Artist Kimberly Berg Continues to be Recognized by CUTV News Radio as an Influential Male Feminist

CADYVILLE, NEW YORK, UNITED STATES, August 2, 2018 / — With the rise of the #MeToo movement, the feminist movement has once again gained momentum and women are fearlessly stepping into their power and not backing down. But how much do women really know about the prominent role they have once played in history? How aware are they of their Neolithic heritage a wonderful period in history when women shared equality with men. Today that can actually happen again if women continue to surge ahead.

Kimberly Berg is one of the most influential acclaimed male feminist artists of his time.

“I have always been interested in ancient history,” says Kimberly. “When I discovered the role women played during the existence of Neolithic times I became aware for the first time how women were so once so profoundly respected when they have been so demeaned over the last 5000 years under patriarchy. With this understanding women’s grace and natural beauty have became the subject and inspiration for my art over the last twenty years.”

Kimberly advocates for an egalitarian society not one that is cynically gender conflicted. Just because it’s patriarchy doesn’t mean it must be matriarchy. Ideally there is another choice. A partnership -type society that existed during the Neolithic period proves it’s absolutely, unequivocally possible.

“Because of that gracious time in history a partnership society has inarguably been tried and tested,” says Kimberly. “No one can say it didn’t work magnificently. Women should lead the way because the standards of females are much different than the values of patriarchy. Under the ruling of men they misguidedly believe the way to move forward is though violence, war, and domination as proven in Neolithic times there is a valid alternative.

According to Kimberly this is an opportune time. And if women can be made aware of their heritage they will surge further towards success. Kimberly strongly emphasizes women must seek a political voice or they absolutely will not be able to triumph.

So what were Neolithic times like, based on research and documented facts? Basically it was the beginning of agriculture. Women cunningly learned how to sow the seeds on the ground. By harvesting the abundant crops they created a monumental difference in society. This led eventually to the development of various crafts like pottery and textile weaving.

“I aspire to create a world or venue that allows women to have the freedom to act on their own,” says Kimberly. “We are so accustomed to having men be in control it’s preventing women from even feeling thy have something to offer.”

Kimberly is hard at work developing his ideas which includes a museum of feminist art. It will depict his awe- inspiring, remarkable paintings and that of many other spectacular feminist artist that have made a tremendous impact in the feminist world.

“There is no shame in the genuine sensitivity and aesthetics women bring to the universe,” says Kimberly. “It’s impressive, thought provoking, and absolutely extraordinary and should be wholeheartedly encouraged.”

Life and Health Coach Erin Banda to be Featured on CUTV News Radio

WASHINGTON, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, UNITED STATES, August 2, 2018 / — When we go through the journey of our lives we learn through experience who we truly are and our purpose on earth. But with so many challenges and obstacles along the way we need the support of experts who can help genuinely guide us through so many difficulties we face. It’s especially comforting to know when this particular individual sincerely has our best interest at heart because they are exceptionally giving individuals.

Erin is an exceptional life and health coach and the Founder and Owner of Erin Banda Life and Health Coaching. Erin is certified through the International Coaching Federation and a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach. She is a graduate of Clark University Institute for Integrative Nutrition and Quantum Coaching Method.

“Since I started my coaching career now I’m able to add value to their lives instilling them with authentic self- confidence,” says Erin. “That has always been the focus of my mindset and I have been able to transform my life through coaching.”

For the past twenty- five years Erin’s career was devoted to the legal and non-profit field where she has been highly accomplished where and worked tirelessly and with fearless commitment. It is now her strong conviction that all the valuable life experiences she has gained has assisted her in becoming a superior coach that resonates exceptionally well with her clients.

“Compassion is huge part of me and people have always told me they feel safe sharing their most intimate details of their lives and are able to open up to me,” says Erin. “Self-care and self-love is what I teach because people need to love themselves and I tell my clients they don’t need a coach they deserve one.”

One of the most valuable lessons Erin has learned is how critical and selfless it is to take care of yourself first before you can take care of others and then guide them to greatness.

“I have never been happier now that I’m nurturing others through my coaching,” says Erin. “it’s absolutely essential to live in joyfulness and positivity so I can model that for clients.”

Erin describes herself as a truth teller in a kind and compassionate manner. This is another key ingredient in successful coaching because when clients seek her out they will get an objective point of view unlike what they may get from friends or family members.

“I never give advice to people,” says Erin. “Ideally it’s best to ask my clients the right questions and their answers will connect them with their hearts and lead them down the right path. It’s my ultimate goal to help them get to that point and to the genuine essence of their being.”

Launches the second annual Women Behind the Lens competition, seeking a new generation of female photographers to share their perspectives of the world.

We were blown away by the quality of last year’s entries, and want to build on the momentum we started by continuing to showcase the exceptional quality of female photography across the world.”

— Sally Hart

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, August 2, 2018 / — Picfair, the fair photography platform, is today launching the second annual Women Behind the Lens competition, seeking a new generation of female photographers to share their perspectives of the world.

2017’s inaugural competition saw over 4,000 entries from 350 photographers in 40 countries, with the shortlisted entrants exhibited at The Guardian newspaper’s in-house gallery in London. The exhibition will return to The Guardian this year, with the competition open for entries from 1st August 2018 to 1st October 2018.

Picfair – an open photographic platform for photographers of all levels of experience – launched the competition in 2017 to highlight the gender imbalance in the commercial photography industries, where just 2% of photographers on the books at major commercial agencies are women, and only 5% of the images used by leading photography publishers are from the lenses of female photographers.

The shortlisted entrants ranged from an engineer from the Forest of Dean, an archaeologist from the Scottish highlands, and an interior designer from Malaysia. The overall winner was Emma Williams, a paramedic from Milton Keynes, whose “freelensed” shot of her son returning to school through a rain-drenched car window wowed an esteemed panel of judges.

“We were blown away by the quality of last year’s entries, and want to build on the momentum we started by continuing to showcase the exceptional quality of female photography across the world.” said Picfair’s Creative Director Sally Hart.

“Picfair was formed to make the world of commercial photography fairer, more open and more representative. By opening our doors to every type of photographer, from every type of background, we believe we can give image buyers more authentic, lesser-seen perspectives of the world. It’s absurd that female perspectives are in such a tiny minority in this industry, and we want to help change that”.

Rene Murata of CEOEssence Continues to be Featured on CUTV News Radio

SPRING, TEXAS, UNITED STATES, August 1, 2018 / — A Forbes article once likened Executive Coaching for women to Career GPS, an analogy Rene Murata who runs that type of coaching businesses, can understand . Rene of CEOEssence says women who aspire to top offices do need a road map–because nearly everything about MBA courses, textbooks and self-help guides for aspiring leaders that exists is written by men and directed at men. Women, Rene says, are wired differently, more relationship-based. And that bears impact on every facet of how they manage, do business, and build corporate success.

While many women possess what’s known as executive presence, they don’t usually recognize it or display that “I’m a force to contend with” mindset. Rene, as her company name implies, helps women connect with their CEO Essence. From generating a different view of the self, to communicating with more sincerity and authority, to listening skills, to establishing trust with business partners, Rene’s leadership coaching offers women a multitude of strategies to help them gain those prized seats at the big table.

It’s not, Rene says, that women are born with different talents or ambition, but rather the way they are programmed by parents, educators, and society at large. A young girl who speaks out is told to pipe down and behave. The kind of natural curiosity that shapes discoveries in engineering—which is a field Murata worked in for many years and for which she runs a consulting company—is not encouraged in young women. They are instead, told to toe the line and uphold the status quo. Even clear visionaries and leaders like Facebook’s Sheryl Sandberg, have been publicly reprimanded for their outspokenness.

In her four August shows Rene will talk more about women’s mindset towards leadership, the changing tide of women in Engineering, and the businesses she runs that make such impact. Besides CEO Essence leadership coaching, Rene launched and runs PSM Risk, focused on risk management and process integrity in the engineering industry. She also developed RM Essence, a clothing line that reflects the needs of executive women—individual style, comfort, and the desire to be more ecologically conscious of what they are wearing. Rene Murata’s forthcoming clothing line will reflect the power dynamic, offering bold colors that help women make their own statement on the executive floor. Rene has begun this promising partnership with the Brazilian designer Salvatore Laureano, well-known for his standout bridal styles and Oscar-status gowns, to create the awesome fashions for the work environment, some specially tailored for the statuesque woman.

Throughout the series, you can discover more about Rene, her diverse business interests, and her theories about women in management and high-powered careers. You can also explore her websites: and and read the blog posts up there.

Walter Benenson to be Featured on CUTV News Radio

EAST LANSING, MICHIGAN, UNITED STATES, August 1, 2018 / — How did the elements on earth get to be here? How many isotopes are there for each element? What is “star-stuff” and how did we come to be made of it? One exceptional scientist who has made a remarkable mark in his field explains his perspective and why it has such huge importance.

Walter Benenson Is an Emeritus University Distinguished Professor of Physics at Michigan State University who taught there for 54 plus years and co-author of the book “Handbook of Physics” and many other published works. He has also made contributions to the field of physics education research.

“It’s particularly important for people to be cognizant of how the elements are produced and miraculously appeared on earth,” says Walter. “All life consists of variations of these 93 momentous elements and their isotopes, and regretfully most people are unaware of the significance of this, and I want to change that.” Towards the end of his career Walter joined Lyman Briggs College on the MSU campus. There his goals became understanding why physics is so hard to teach and trying to improve that situation.

As a youth Walter had aspired to become a writer and was majoring in English until the end of his sophomore year at Yale. A physics professor (in required course) surprised him when he told him what a brilliant physics student he was. This prompted him to change his direction and he ended up getting a PhD in nuclear physics at the University of Wisconsin not many years later. Besides his may outstanding accomplishments and accolades Walter is one of the original founders of the Michigan State Cyclotron Laboratory 50 years ago. This laboratory has now evolved into a gigantic project called FRIB (Facility for Rare Isotope Beams). This is now a world class nuclear physics and astrophysics installation.

“The periodic table is so pertinent because it’s about the elements which symbolize all life on earth,” says Walter. “The elements are being continuously created in space by super nova explosions. Atoms are streaming through space towards the earth passing through our bodies. They are everywhere in space and did not come from the Big Bang but from continuous production by explosions in outer space. So all living creatures are essentially made up of stars material.” According to Walter life needs all of these elements to evolve especially carbon, oxygen and nitrogen.

Walter produced a spectacular video funded by the National Science Foundation about the production of the elements called “Nucleus Factory” which was aired nationwide on PBS stations. It is still available on YouTube.

“No matter what career you are following, you must work assiduously and with determination,” says Walter. “And it’s extremely important you acquire a superior education and have tremendous family support, but more importantly be absolutely dedicated to your work.” You also need some good luck, for example a professor setting you on the right track.

“People can be inspired at any age,” says Walter. “Even if you are a mediocre student, you can all of a sudden catch fire. I never thought I would wind up being a distinguished professor of physics because I had thought of myself as a writer. There are always chances in life, and we should be prepared for every opportunity.”

CUTV News will feature Walter Benenson in an interview with Doug Llewelyn on Wednesday August 1st at 12 p.m. EST.

Blind Athlete Shawn Cheshire Aims to set Guinness World Record for Grand Canyon Rim to Rim to Rim Crossing.

Multi-sport Paralympic Athlete will attack the feat on October 7, 2018.

FT. LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA, USA, August 1, 2018 / — —— Paralympic cyclist and blind multi-sport athlete Shawn Cheshire is a fearless woman. The roundtrip trail crossing of the Grand Canyon (Rim to Rim to Rim) is not a challenge for the faint of heart and yet Shawn doesn’t use words like “attempt.” She states, “I’m not going to attempt this. I’m going to crush it.” Her conviction leads one to believe that no other option is possible.

She’ll be doing the Grand Canyon Rim to Rim to Rim on Sunday, October 7, 2018. The Guinness Book of World Records has been contacted so that the record for a blind woman making this journey can be chronicled and established.

Because she is blind, Shawn will have two guides for this journey. One guide will lead Shawn wearing a bell for her to follow and the second guide will trail her giving verbal feedback. She will also use a rigid hiking cane.

The Grand Canyon is considered one of seven natural wonders of the world. It is 18 miles wide and attains a depth of approximately 6,000 feet. Hiking rim-to-rim (21 miles) is considered one of America's most dangerous hikes, causing 350 heat-related rescues in the park every year. Shawn is doing Rim to Rim to Rim (roundtrip) making the journey 42 miles in total.

This journey contains other perils. Approximately 5 hikers on average die every year. The challenge is accentuated by hellish-heat combined with 20,000 feet of vertical states that, “The dark grey schist at lower elevations absorbs and radiates heat like a cast-iron frying pan, so when thermometers read 110°F in the shade, hikers endure 130°F ground temps on the trail.” Flash floods can also occur anytime of the year, the National Parks Service reports that hikers have died from floods generated by thunderstorms as far as 25 miles away.

No stranger to the Grand Canyon, Shawn Cheshire hiked a much shorter version of the trails earlier this year. She regretfully never saw the Grand Canyon when she had her sight. Her other heightened senses plus the accomplishment will no doubt bring about a tremendous appreciation of this beautiful natural resource.

Shawn endures a rigorous training routine and is a successful cyclist with multiple national titles. Overcoming obstacles has become somewhat routine for Shawn. She is suing the United States Olympic Committee in a California federal court after sustaining a concussion at a mandatory training camp because the USOC prohibited her from using her seeing eye dog.

Shawn participated in the Paralympic Games in 2016 and is working hard to qualify for the Paralympic Games in Tokyo in 2020.
